Coach Nolan Gurney attended Rising Star Baseball Camp from age four through age 14 starting as a Young Prospect. While at camp, Coach Gurney won the Iron Horse Award, Camper of the Week Award, and holds the Home Run Derby record among 14 year old campers.  
As a student-athlete, Coach Gurney plays on the football, basketball, and baseball teams at Pleasantville High School. During the past two summers, he has played travel baseball for the Taconic Rangers and Team Crush. On the Rookie Field at camp, he helps campers with outfield defense, bunting, and base running.
