Having served as a valuable utility player at SUNY Purchase College starting in 2011, Coach Ruiz has been coaching a variety of skills and fundamentals to players on the Double A Field since 2012. Desribed by his head college baseball coach Bill Guerrero as "the ideal teammate and coachable player", Coach Ruiz passes on these qualities to Rising Star campers throughout each camp week.
